Installing ThePhotoStick® Omni App

Download the FREE ThePhotoStick Omni app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to begin organizing and protecting your photos and videos. Our new and improved app now guides you through the process in just a few simple steps.

There are two ways to install the mobile app onto your device:

1. Search for ThePhotoStick Omni app in your device’s app store. You can also use one of the links below to go directly to your device's app store.

2. Scan the QR Code below with your mobile device:

💡 Beginner Tip #1

Ensure your device and ThePhotoStick Omni X are properly and securely connected. The red indicator light will appear when your device and ThePhotoStick Omni X are successfully connected.

Getting Started: iOS Devices

For best performance, we recommend keeping your device up to date with the latest iOS or iPadOS version currently available.

Step 1:

Download ThePhotoStick® Omni app from your device’s Apple App Store.

Step 2:

Once the app has been downloaded, open it and plug ThePhotoStick Omni X into your phone or tablet using the Lightning or USB-C port.

💡 Beginner Tip #2

Certain phone cases may need to be removed in order to ensure a proper connection.

Step 3:

Tap "GET STARTED" to read the on-screen tips and watch the in-app tutorial video.

Then, tap the blue "NEXT" button when you are ready to move on.

Step 4:

Tap "CONNECT DEVICE" if you are ready to continue, or tap “Watch Video Again” if needed.

Step 5:

Tap "BROWSE" in the lower right corner of your screen.

Step 6:

Select ThePhotoStick Omni drive named: PHOTOSTICK

⚠️ Important!

Please note that some phones and tablets may show the drive name as "generic USB device" rather than "PHOTOSTICK."

Step 7:

Tap "OPEN" in the upper right corner of your screen.

Step 8:

Tap the blue "BACK TO HOME" button.

Step 9:

If prompted, always tap "Allow Full Access", so ThePhotoStick Omni can back up every precious photo and video from your device.

💡 Beginner Tip #3

Tapped the wrong button and didn't allow full access? No problem! Visit the app's "Settings" menu to allow ThePhotoStick Omni full access to your device's media library.
