Android

Closing an app on Android can vary depending on the Android version and phone manufacturer. So, you may need to check your documentation for your particular phone and android version. Generally, though, most Android phones have the classic Navigation bar with the Recents, Home, and Back buttons at the bottom of your screen. You can easily close an app using the “Recent” button on the Navigation bar.

For example, ThePhotoStick Omni mobile app on a Samsung Galaxy S22 can be closed by doing the following:

  1. Tap the “Recents” button on the Navigation Bar

  2. Swipe left or right to find ThePhotoStick Omni app

  3. Swipe up on the app to close it.
